Natural childbirth options w/ VBAC

3/10/2010 10:23:50 PM I have had 2 csections. They were both planned and I never labored. As it turns out the first was not medically necessary, but pushed by the doctor. The 2nd I wasn't really given an option. Now I am thinking about having a 3rd, but would love to do a natural childbirth, including no drugs. I know this sounds crazy, but I just feel like it is something I need to do. After the first c-section I had little to no scar tissue. I guess I want to know what my options are. I live in KY and there just doesn't seem to be many drs. who will even consider this because of insurance risks.

You can do it. Just call all the doctors in your area and ask if they do VBACs. There is only a 1% chance of hemmoraghing (sp?) after a C-Section. |
