Asked by HeavenlyMommy {656} http://www.heavenlymommy.com 3/12/2010 10:03:46 PM My son is 18 months old and I was thinking of getting him a little pillow for his crib. Two questions: Would this be ok? If so, where do you buy a little toddler pillow? I don't think I've ever seen them for sale. |

Yes, we alternate between a travel pillow and her boppy. I found her one of her travel pillows at target(I think it was $3) and the other was at walgreens( 2 for $5). |

We gave our son a pillow around 20 months, I think. We opted for a well used small pillow instead of a new one. It was the hypoallergenic kind (not one with feathers). That way it was soft and mushy and he was immediately comfortable with it. The pillow case was also used, and did not have the starchy feel of new fabric. I had just washed it with his detergent before giving it to him. |

I gave both of my children pillows when they were about two years old, maybe a little earlier. I didn't however give them a pillowcase. I gave them just the pillow cover with the zipper so that it couldn't come off. It was realatively fitted and eased my anxiety about having a pillow in the crib. |
