3/23/2010 3:25:15 AM My son is four years old and still does not get up at night to use the potty. I have tried reassuring him that he can get out of bed to use the rest room and it is what the big boys do but he is still having accidents and wearing pull ups at night. What can I do to help him? |

Do you think it could be fear of the dark keeping him from getting up? Maybe something as simple as a night light would help? |

We use a night light as well as some neutral, white noise. That seems to do the trick so our little one goes to sleep and stays asleep nearly all night most nights. Good luck. |

Maybe cut back on what he drinks, or the amount, right before bed? This helped our child TREMENDOUSLY when we were potty training. |
