4/8/2010 11:37:41 PM One of the hardest parts of my day is late afternoon. The kids are cranky, it's time to fix supper for my husband, and every time I start on something in the kitchen a fight ensues! How do stay at home moms manage mealtimes when you're interrupted every two minutes by your children? |

When I was a kid, my mom worked, then had to come home to fix supper. I was the oldest, but had three younger siblings. The way she handled it was to give everyone something to do while she prepared supper. As the oldest, I superised the younger ones. By the time she got supper done, we were usually half done with our tasks, and were ready for supper. |

That is one time that I will pop a movie into the DVD player and while they watch it, I can cook semi peacefully. |

| Kimberly Matura I would DVR Sesame Street and put it on for the hour while I cooked dinner and cleaned up around the house. It worked well for us and I think the triplets really did learn during that time. Monday, December 26, 2011 | ||
| Christine Pemberton I love my crockpot. I like to either get everything done before the kids wake up or while they are eating breakfast. I have 2 toddlers and an infant and the morning is really the only time I can get stuff done. :) Monday, December 26, 2011 | ||
| Bobbi Argabrite Maybe hubby could use that time to hang out with his kids. He must interact with them sometime. Why not make it while you are trying to get his dinner? Tuesday, January 10, 2012 | ||
