What is the most dangerous thing for a high school child?

In my opinion, low self esteem is the most dangerous thing. A child with high self esteem won't be pressured to try drugs, have sex for attention, or drink to fit in.

I have the same fear for my own daughter who will be attending high school in the fall. Parental supervision and keeping open lines of communication is what I am hoping will get me through the process. Good values and morals have always been important in our home, so I am hoping she takes the knowledge in which she has learned and utilizes it.
