4/11/2010 6:48:31 PM I know some hpt's are notorious for evaporation lines or false negatives when the woman actually turned out to be pregnant. Is there a brand out there that anybody recommends as most accurate? |

I used the Wal Mart brand of First Response. It worked out great all five times for me. |

Thank you! I've seen those before, and I wasn't sure about them; I've always used First Response, but I'd like to try and save a little money if the generic is just as good if not better than the name brand. - llbarton48 4/11/2010 6:56:04 PM | Flag |

I've used Answer, which are really cheap and they have never given me a problem. I never got a false positive or a false negative. It's the one I used when we were trying with my daughter and it got the answer right every time I tested. |

I've used the cheapest brands and have had no issues with accuracy. |

The ones with the blue dye give false positives the most. The Dollar Tree tests work just as well as the name brand kind (ACOG actually tested them and released their findings). Answer and first response are the same tests, made by the same company, only with a different name. |
