Doing daily hygiene routines with your baby, will that make them not like it when they are old enough to do it themselves?

I don't think so.  I think if you start early enough, it will just become routine in their daily lives.  And if you make it fun instead of a chore, it won't be a hassle for them.

We started brushing our son's teeth when he was less than a year old. Now that he's almost two, he still enjoys it. He just doesn't want any help now!

Lol no I don`t think so... I have given my children baths, brushed teeth and hair, clipped finger nails and toe nails, etc. regularly since they were born. They are all very clean children to this day. I think, keeping a routine in your children`s lives is very important in how they will continue hygiene habits as they grow into adolescence and then adulthood.

Studies have shown that kids who walked around w/ poopy diapers a lot ended up being slobby as adults, the opposite of anal retentive. (<< I learned that in college psychology class.)
