5/20/2010 12:42:50 PM I am due in 5 weeks and I am getting differing opinions on the Bobby Pillow vs. My Breast Friend. What is your preference and why? |

I noticed that the Breast Friend was made more sturdy and the Boppy was fluffier like a pillow. I think they are both good. It's more of a personal preference. The good thing with the Boppy is you can use it for the baby's tummy time to prop them up on their stomach. You could also just use pillows to prop up your arms and the baby where you need to. This is the cheaper route. Good luck with the new baby! |

The pillow is best for you and your new baby, it will make you both comfortable, and when you are the baby can nurse with out stress from mommy. |

I have found both to be useful, but for different reasons. I love the My Breast Friend for breastfeeding. I like the back support and that it's more firm - I can rest my baby on it without supporting her weight too much. I like the Boppy for propping her up and for tummy time. I don't think you'll go wrong with either - it's just a personal preference. :) |

I never tried the breast friend, I had the boppy for my 2 boys. What I liked about the boppy was the ease of being able to use it in mutiple positions. I also liked to use it at times as a prop for tummy time, and to help my boy sit (as a cushion to protect).
As many have said, you can't go wrong, I am sure. |

| Lucy Do Use Breast friend! It`s better since it wraps securely around your entire body and won`t slip off. The boppy only hangs half way and doesn`t provide good back support as compared to the breast friend. That was how i decided. Saturday, August 14, 2010 | ||

| Kimberly Matura Breast friend is better for newborn nursing because it`s thicker and provides a better position for a small baby. But boppy is better for long term and can be used for positioning and tummy time in the long run. Sunday, August 15, 2010 | ||

| Kimberly Henlein i got both. With the boppy they have a `newborn wedge` that you can purchase, instead of that I decided to go with mybreastfriend becuase it is much more comfortable for feeding the first few weeks, and I used the boppy for tummy time. Now he is 4 months and I use both of them for nursing- if you must make the choice definitely go with a boppy, its long term and is used for more than just feeding. Thursday, August 19, 2010 | ||
