How do you get your toddler to drink milk from a sippy cup?

My friend's daughter is 17 months old. She just got rid of all her bottles and wants her daughter to start using sippy cups only. The problem is her daughter hasn't had milk in two days because she won't drink from a cup. My son didn't have a problem switching so I'm not sure how to help.

Does she give in and give her a milk bottle?

OR

Does she stick to her guns and her daughter will drink from a sippy cup when she's ready?

Now I am not trying to make a sale here but I sell Tupperwrare and quite a few of my friends had the same problem.  The only sippy cups their kids will drink out of are the Tupperware Sippers.  I have 3 kids and they didn't mind any of them.  My youngest uses the Tupperware ones but she will just as quickly, while at the park try to steal another childs other brand lol.  Just a suggestion, they are on sale right now as well.  Let me know how it goes!

She may want to try the ones with the softer tops that are more like nipples than the harder ones. That helped when I switched my daughter over. Its worth a try and they are fairly inexpensive at Walmart.

I had that problem with my son who is gonna be 2 soon, he didnt like drinking milk at all frm a sippy cup, so I found these sippy cups that look like bottles and even have a soft top so it feels like a bottle but its really a sippy cup!

I have the same problem with my son, 14months old. So I went back to giving it in a bottle before nap and bed and he will now drink it out of the cup the other times. Now I am going to gradually take it away at nap time and then a little later at bed time. I hope it works for me.

My daughter was 14 months when we switched her over to Nuby No Spill Flip and Sip cups. It has a soft straw top. She wouldn`t use any of the regular sippy cups. She held these up like a bottle at first so we removed the straw extension on the inside of the cup.

My 14 month old is not fond of zippy cups, but she loves straws. So, we bought the toddler cups with the soft straw. She is down to a bottle in the AM and one before bed. We will knock those out one by one as well. She has done great cutting back on bottles and we will take her off of those last two one at a time. Works for her. You should do what works for the family. It will all work out in the end. I personally not sacrifice my babies nutrition for taking away all bottles. They need t

With my toddler, put a little chocolate or strawberry milk in the whole milk to give it a slight flavor. She loves it that way, otherwise she will just take few sips and toss it.

I taught my 1 year old son how to drink from the sippy cup but then he watched a older toddler drink from a bottle so I have to start over.I was thinking and my friend also suggested to get him a new sippy cup, so thats what I plan to do.I did not like the sippy cups at Walmart but I saw some awesome ones at Big Lots.Although at Walmart I like the sippy cups with the container at the end to store their snacks.I think u should just introduce it and they will get it when their ready every child is
