4/21/2011 6:34:36 PM My little one just recently turned two. For about 3 days now her appetite is completely off. She wants next to nothing to eat. She is showing no signs of illness. |

| Kim Smith It is normal for them to go through spurts. Tomorrow she may eat all day long. If you don`t see any signs of anything be wrong, it is probably fine. Saturday, April 23, 2011 | ||
| Michelle Bane my guy (who will be 2 in june) has been doing this for the last month. he will sit down for dinner, eat 2 bites and then go. we just make sure that he isn`t grazing on carbs the whole rest of the time, they really will eat when they are hungry. i think we shouldn`t try to force it, as you know, they are all about control at this stage, so we can`t be!! :) Saturday, April 23, 2011 | ||
| Laurie Garrett My almost 2 year old has started doing the same thing! Must be their age! Saturday, April 23, 2011 | ||
| Danielle Sentinella My almost four year old been doing this since he turned two. my doc says it`s the grazing faze. instead of sitting to eat meals when we eat i give him 7 or 8 healthy snacks throughout the day that he can eat while he`s wandering around or playing..get it grazing? lol! i make him bananas with peanut butter for protein and cut up veggies. it is control at this age, the more you push the harder he will resist. my son also still nursing so I know he gets nourishment frm me. most breastfed babies Saturday, April 23, 2011 | ||
| Brenda Brown Yeah, same here but my daughter drinks her milk every night if she doesn`t eat her whole dinner. Let`s go with flow until we see something that`s is puzzling to us. Enjoy them too. They grow fast..... Saturday, April 23, 2011 | ||
| Rishira Hill It is quite normal actually. I am going through the same thing with my two year old. All she wants to do is drink. So, of course, we allow her to drink what she needs to, while giving her small snack remedies in between. For example: yesterday, all she wanted was milk. So, each time I gave her a glass of milk throughout the day, I offered her crackers, cheese, carrots, and fruit. She obliged every time. Then, she was able to eat a good dinner.
